The (Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent) S.I.G.I.T. Band rock Bandung-based dengan lirik-lirik lagu yang cerdas ini tidak hanya menawarkan teriakan parau yang selanjutnya diakhiri: yeaaah! Simak kutipan berikut: “We are the noodle generation, our foods are made preservation, we don’t need your education, things are going malfunction.” Diambil dari lagu berjudul ‘New Generation.’ Tidak perlu seorang sakti untuk meramalkan ketidakberesan (malfunction) tabiat kita sekarang ini, dikarenakan pola makan kita yang kelewat ‘praktis’ itu ternyata. Segerombolan super pembangkang tanpa bakat secuilpun juga bisa mendapatkan pencerahan semacam tadi nyatanya.
Tahun 2007 yang lalu berderet penghargaan di raup the S.I.G.I.T; Best Band 2007 Juice Magazine, Best Indie Band Hai Magazine, Best Album Rolling Stone Magazine, Best Band Grey Magazine. Yang akhirnya ditutup dengan rangkaian tur di Australia pada bulan Juni 2007 silam. The S.I.G.I.T tidak berniat membuka tahun 2008 ini dengan rehat. Maret yang akan datang bertempat di Austin, Texas, Amerika Serikat. Satu festival epik tahunan bernama SXSW
menunggu untuk dijajaki mereka. SXSW merupakan festival besar yang merupakan perayaan film, musik dan New Media dari tiap benua di dunia. SXSW ini sudah berumur 21 tahun semenjak kemunculan pertamanya di tahun 1987.
Airplane systm yang semenjak kemunculannya di tahun 1998 menyokong perkembangan musik (good music) di awal tahun 2008 ini menjadikan the S.I.G.I.T sebagai icon season pembuka tahun ini yaitu: SEDUCED YOU GXXD – The Urban Bohemian. Beautiful People, undeniable. Berbagai merchandise the S.I.G.I.T diproduksi khusus dan terbatas oleh Airplane systm. So here it is… we urge you all Insurgent Army to take part on this campaign.

ABOUT
URBAN BOHEMIAN is Airplane system’s new music initiative bringing you the brightest young talent on the indie music scene.
Why is Airplane system involved with music? Because it is the original street wear brand initially adopted from the streets of Bandung music based fashion and it has then featured in almost every youth subculture since. From Mods, Suedeheads, Ska/Two Tone, Punk, New Wave, Britpop, Electronic/Rave and the latest Indie revival. Since its launch, the urban bohemian campaign from airplane system has also often been the first to feature the latest independent sounds.
So, if you want to find who will be the future of music keep checking back on the site. We will be introducing more and more innovative and interesting indie music over the coming year.
